Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RabaFlow ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use rabaflow.com or our services. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), as they apply to us.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address.
- Identity information: date of birth, address, occupation, and copies or details of government-issued ID, as required by law.
- Transaction information: amounts, currencies, bank or wallet details, recipient details, and the source and purpose of funds.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Early access sign-ups: if you join our early access list, your name, email, optional WhatsApp number, and your answers to our short survey.
- Website data: basic technical information that our hosting provider records automatically, such as IP address and browser type.
2. Why we use it
- To give you quotes and complete the transactions you request;
- To verify your identity and meet our obligations under Canada's Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, including record keeping and reporting to FINTRAC;
- To prevent fraud and protect you and our business;
- To answer your questions and resolve complaints;
- With your consent, to tell early access sign-ups about our launch and to use survey answers to plan our services;
- To keep our website running and secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only when needed to provide our services or when the law requires it, for example with:
- Banks, payment providers, and exchanges that process your transaction;
- Government authorities, including FINTRAC and law enforcement, when required by law;
- Service providers that host our website, email, and records, the form service that delivers early access sign-ups to our inbox, and the email service we use to send welcome and launch emails, under confidentiality obligations.
4. Storage outside Canada
Because we move money between Canada and Nigeria, and because some of our service providers operate internationally, your information may be processed or stored outside Canada, including in Nigeria and the United States. It may then be accessible to authorities in those countries under their laws.
5. How long we keep it
Canadian law requires us to keep identity and transaction records for at least five years. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then securely delete it.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including access limited to people who need it, secure accounts with two-factor authentication where available, and encrypted storage and transfer where possible. No method is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you suspect misuse.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to optional uses. Some information must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the current one.
9. Contact
